FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne police are investigating a one vehicle crash on Saint Joe Road early Wednesday morning.
Shortly after 2 a.m., officers responded in the 5400 block of St. Joe Road after a small truck hit a utility pole. The driver was traveling south on St. Joe Road when he crossed the median, took out a sign, and slammed into a utility pole near the northbound lanes.
Officers said the driver sustained a minor cut on his lip.
Police believe alcohol might have been a factor in the crash.
FWPD was assisted on the scene by IPFW police.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
