FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Crews have cleaned up a diesel spill that slowed traffic for about two hours during rush hour this morning on West Jefferson.
Traffic was slowed after an RV leaked around ten gallons of diesel. Police say the RV had just got serviced and the valve for the diesel either came loose or the driver forgot to put it back on.
Police had the right lane of westbound West Jefferson closed near Jefferson Pointe so crews could clean up the spill. Police now have all lanes back open.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
