NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A two-car crash left seven people injured on Monday morning.
Police said Samantha Carter, 18, and her passenger Wesley Carter, 17, both of Albion, were driving north on Long Lake Road at around 7:45 a.m.
Carter stopped at the intersection and began to drive again when her vehicle was hit by a van. The driver of the van, which had five occupants, saw the other car stop so proceeded to drive through the intersection.
According to police, Jennetta Calvelage, 40, was driving eastbound on 100 North and told police that she saw Carter's car stop, then drove across the intersection.
Police said both Samantha Carter and Wesley Carter were flown to Parkview in the Samaritan Helicopter and their condition is unknown.
According to police, Calvelage and her four passengers also sustained minor injuries from the crash. One passenger was taken to Parkview Noble.
Police said the subjects in the crash were all driving to Central Noble Schools at the time of the crash.
