ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – A woman was taken to the hospital with only minor injuries after she lost control of her car and crashed into a tree on Woods Road Friday morning.

According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, the woman was headed west in the 3500 block of Woods Road just before 8:30 a.m., when she left the roadway.

When emergency responders arrived, crews extricated the woman from the car and sent her to a Fort Wayne hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.
