Car crashes into Superior Pool Products building on Stone Blvd., woman in serious condition

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A car drove into the east side of Superior Pool Products on 3433 Stone Blvd. Saturday morning.
Police said a witness told them that the female driver was going southbound on Freeman St. at a high rate of speed when she hit a utility pole and drove into the field between Freeman and Nuttman Ave.
The witness said the driver was still accelerating as she drove into the building. She was seen slumped over in the driver's seat.
Police said the woman was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.
