DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - Police said a woman had to extricated from her car by the fire department after she crashed into a ditch.
Loretta Rigby, 50, of Butler, was driving eastbound on State Road 8, east of County Road 43, around 10:00 a.m. Saturday when she lost control due to weather conditions. According to police, Rigby's car went off the road into a 15 foot drainage ditch and landed on its top.
Police said Rigby could not open the door to get out the car. She was extricated by the Auburn Fire Department.
Police said no injuries were reported.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
