Semi Loses Load of Steel, State Road 26 at CR 800 E Closed in Jay County

JAY COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) State Road 26 at County Road 800 E in Jay County is closed as of 10:45 Wednesday morning due to a crash in which a semi lost a load of steel.

The Indiana State Police Trooper investigating the crash indicated that the roadway will be closed for approximately the next hour and a half as emergency crews work to clear the roadway.

Police ask drivers to avoid the area and find an alternate route of travel.

No serious injuries have been reported.
