FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A man was taken to a hospital in fair condition after his car collided with a semi and became wedged under the truck.
According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, the driver of the semi was driving westbound on W. Jefferson Blvd. onto W. Main St. in front of the Mercury Sable. The man driving the Mercury Sable was unable to stop and the car collided with the semi. The car, wedged under the semi, was dragged before coming to a rest on W. Main. St.
The driver was the only person inside the Mercury Sable. The driver of the semi was not injured.
W. Main Street at W. Jefferson Blvd was closed for about 30 minutes while the scene was cleared.
