STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - An 18-year-old girl was flown to the hospital by Parkview's Samaritan helicopter after a head-on crash in Steuben County Thursday morning.
Police said Cody Hess, 20, of Angola, was driving northbound on County Road 200 W., just north of County Road 100 N. around 7:05 a.m. when he drove left of the center line and struck a southbound SUV head-on. The SUV was driven by Jennie Archbold, 37, of Angola.
According to police, Hess's passenger, Alexandra Concus, 18, of Angola, was flown to Parkview Regional Medical Center by Samaritan helicopter to be treated for a head injury. The two drivers were not injured.
The crash remains under investigation. Police said seatbelts were worn by everyone involved in the crash and alcohol was not a factor.
