FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Indiana Department of Transportation announced Monday that the I-69 renumbering is almost complete in Fort Wayne.
INDOT said the main exit signs and mile marker reference posts are finished in both directions.
As of Monday, September 17, INDOT crews are still working on some remaining Fort Wayne ramp signs.
The Fort Wayne district of I-69 includes Exit 255 to the Michigan state line.
In total, the Fort Wayne district changed 1,109 exit and mile marker reference post signs out of a total 1,843 signs between Indianapolis and the Michigan state line.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
