FORT WAYNE, Ind. (USF Athletics) - Jenelle Wilson scored 20 points and Meghan Slusher produced a double-double to lead fourth-ranked University of Saint Francis to an 84-58 win over Marian University in the first round of the Crossroads League Tournament on Tuesday night.

The second-seeded Lady Cougars (28-3) climbed into a Friday night CL Tournament semifinal game at Hutzell Athletic Center against 13th-ranked, No. 3-seeded Bethel College (25-6) at 7 p.m.

After scoring 34 in the USF win at MU last Wednesday, the Knights limited USF's leading scorer, Kayla Drake, to eight points. USF's No. 2 scorer, Skylarr Shurn, was out after suffering a concussion on Saturday.

No problem.

Freshman Mallory Hester scored a season-best 12 points, Brooke Ridley added 11 points, and Kalah Baer scored 10 in just her fourth start of the season.

Baer scored the first two buckets of the game and after MU cut the deficit to 4-2, the Lady Cougars shot out to a 25-11 lead, led 50-22 at halftime and cruised to their third win of the season over the Knights by double digits.
