DES MOINES, IA. - Behind 20-point games from Tony Mitchell, Doron Lamb and Ron Howard, the Mad Ants hammered the Iowa Energy 119-98 Saturday night.
Mitchell finished with a team-high 25 points in helping the Ants build a 55-49 halftime lead. A 35-point third quarter would shut the door for the Ants who shot 47 percent from the field and 13-of-26 from beyond the arc.
Lamb - in just his fourth game on assignment from the Milwaukee Bucks - played his best game in a Mad Ants uniform shooting an efficient 9-of-14 from the floor.
The team is now off for the next 13 days. The Ants will next play February 22nd in Erie.
