INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) - Warsaw native Miles Plumlee got a chance to impress the team in his home-state on Tuesday as Plumlee was one of six players who worked out for the Indiana Pacers.
Joining Plumlee were Syracuse's Fab Melo, Chris Johnson (Dayton), Jarrod Jones (Ball State), Kyle O'Quinn (Norfolk State), and Jonathan Simmons (Houston).
Plumlee, who went to Duke, is a 7-footer who weighs 252 pounds. He averaged 6.7 points and 7.2 rebounds as a senior for Duke last season. While his numbers aren't impressive many scouts believe his size, hustle, and athleticism make him a good fit for the NBA.
