FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - This week Team of the Week is the Wayne football team.
The Generals earned a win in the first round of sectional play by upsetting Kokomo on the road 31-28. Nick Harmeyer's 45-yard game-winning field came with just two seconds left on the clock. Kokomo came into the game with a 6-3 record after finishing second in North Central Conference play. The win helped Wayne improve to 3-7 on the season.
The Generals are in their second year under head coach Robert Brown.
