FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - This week's Team of the Week is the Wayne boys basketball team.
The Generals are off to a 3-0 start with wins over Bellmont, Heritage, and Lakewood Park. The Generals are putting up 65 points a night and giving up just 52.
Wayne is led a trio of Mitchell brothers - juniors Justin, Jescus, and Levi. Justin is averaging 25 points and 12 rebounds a game. Marlon Rogers Fincher, Josh Smiley, and Dion Walker are also counted on heavily.
Coach Aaron Rehrer is in his third year leading the program.
Next up, Wayne opens SAC play against Northrop. That game is set for Friday at Wayne and will be featured as the Highlight Zone "Game of the Week."
