FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - This week's Team of the Week is the Homestead hockey team.
The Spartans are 18-2 on the season, scoring 120 goals and giving up just 35. The Spartans recently clinched the Roy Chin Trophy for the second year in a row by winning Fort Wayne's regular season title.
The city playoffs begin this week and the Spartans are looking to repeat as tournament champs as well. Last year Homestead beat Leo 9-1 in the title game.
The Spartans are coached by Jeff Van Gessel and led by their seven seniors.
