FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Leo native Brandon Alger made his first appearance at Wednesday's TinCaps game. He had his biggest fans there, his parents.

Brad and Angie Alger, Brandon's parents, were at the game to cheer on their son. He had made a quick turnaround to be a part of the team. He received a call on Saturday from the TipCaps while pitching for the Eugene Emeralds in Oregon.

" I screamed," said Angie. "This is fantastic."

Wednesday night was Alger's first time playing as a TinCap. He was in the 7th inning. He struck out two batters and allowed one hit in two-thirds of an inning.
