INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE) - Andrew Luck's teammates have praised his skills the first two weeks of training camp. On Sunday, those skills looked sharp as Luck helped Indianapolis to a 38-3 win over the St. Louis Rams.
Luck was the first overall pick in April's draft. He ended his first preseason game with 188 passing yards. He completed 10 of 16 passes.
In fact, Luck's first pass of the game was ran in for a score. Luck threw a short pass to Donald Brown. Brown would run 63 yards to put the Colts up 7-0.
Luck's other scoring pass found the hands of Austin Collie in the second quarter.
Indianapolis put its rookie quarterback on the bench in favor of Drew Stanton with less than two minutes to play in the first half.
In the fourth quarter, Norwell High School gradate Chandler Harnish threw his first professional touchdown pass. He connected with Jeremy Ross on a 33-yard score.
Harnish completed all three of his passes in the game. He played the entire fourth quarter.
Indianapolis will face Pittsburgh in its next preseason game. That contest is set for 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 19.
