TinCaps And Loons Rained Out Thursday

The Fort Wayne TinCaps home game on Thursday, May 31 against the Great Lakes Loons has been postponed due to rain. The teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader at Parkview Field on Friday, June 1 ^st.

The TinCaps and Loons will play two seven-inning games on Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 5:35 PM, with the gates set to open at 5:00 PM. There will be a 30-minute break between games. Tickets for Thursday’s game can be redeemed for any remaining home game based on availability. Tickets must be redeemed in person at the Parkview Field ticket office. 

The scheduled festivities for Star Wars Night will take place during game two of the doubleheader. Friday night’s fireworks are still scheduled to take place following the conclusion of the second game.

Radio coverage will begin at 6:00 PM on 1380 ESPN and ESPNFortWayne.com , following the conclusion of the final edition of Kent Hormann’s SportsWise. Television coverage will begin at 5:30 PM on XFINITY Digital Cable Channel 81.

The scheduled starters in game one will be Fort Wayne’s Adys Portillo and Great Lakes’ Gustavo Gomez. Game two’s scheduled starters are Colin Rea for the TinCaps and Arismendy Ozoria for the Loons.
