TinCaps Rained Out In Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Kentucky – The scheduled game between the Fort Wayne TinCaps and the Bowling Green Hot Rods on Sunday, September 2, was postponed due to rain. It is scheduled to be made up as part of a doubleheader on Monday, September 3 ^rd, which will mark the end of the regular season.

Monday’s action will begin at 12:05 PM and will consist of two, seven-inning games. The second game is scheduled to start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. The scheduled starters in Monday’s doubleheader are Fort Wayne’s Colin Rea and Bowling Green’s Felipe Rivero in game one, and Ruben Mejia and Reinaldo Lopez in game two.

Following an off day on Tuesday, the TinCaps will open the 2012 playoffs at Parkview Field on Wednesday, September 5 ^th, against the Lansing Lugnuts at 7:05 PM.
