TinCaps Prepare For Postseason

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The TinCaps took the practice field Tuesday afternoon for their final tune-up before opening the postseason.

The Caps will face Lansing in a best-of-three first round playoff series starting Wednesday. Game one will be at Parkview Field with game two at Lansing. Game three, if necessary, will also be in Lansing.

The Caps will start righty James Needy on the hill for game one, with Bryan, Ohio native Matt Wisler starting in game two.

The Caps and Lansing met 16 times in the regular sesaon, with both teams winning eight times.

First pitch Wednesday night at Parkview Field is set for 7:05 p.m.
