FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The TinCaps will open the best-of-three Midwest League Eastern Divisional Finals at home Saturday night against the Lake County Captains.
First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. at Parkview Field.
Michael Limmer, the team's vice president of marketing and promotions said the team is expecting a large crowd for what may be the team's last home game of the season.
After Saturday's game, Lake County and Fort Wayne will play game two at the Captains' field. Game three will also take place there if the game is necessary.
Limmer said tickets are still available for Saturday's contest, and added he expects many people to buy their ticket at the door.
Ticket prices remain the same as they did during the regular season. They can be purchased for as little as $5.
The Caps held a brief workout Friday to get ready for the Captains.
Fort Wayne swept Lansing two games to none by winning 9-6 Thursday in Lansing.
Frank Garces will start on the mound Saturday for the TinCaps.
