NEW YORK, NY – The Milwaukee Bucks today re-assigned rookie guard Doron Lamb to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the Bucks’ NBA Development League affiliate. The assignment is the record 123rd of the 2012-13 NBA and NBA D-League seasons and Lamb is one if the record 52 NBA player to have been assigned to the NBA D-League this season.
Lamb (6-4, 210, Kentucky) returns to the Mad Ants following a two-game assignment in January when he averaged 7.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 24.5 minutes.
In 23 games for the Bucks this season, Lamb is averaging 3.4 points and 12.2 minutes. Originally selected in the second round (42 nd overall) of the 2012 NBA Draft, Lamb spent two years as a Wildcat, averaging 13.1 points and 29.8 minutes in 70 career NCAA games.
Lamb is expected to join the Mad Ants today and be available when the team hosts the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
