INDIANAPOLIS, IN. (WANE) - Bishop Dwenger grad and former Notre Dame star Tyler Eifert is taking the next step towards the NFL - participating at the 2013 NFL Combine.
The all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards for an Irish tight end, Eifert is almost unanimously considered among the top two prospects at his position and has been projected by some outlets as a first round pick.
Eifert spoke to the media on Friday and will partake in field drills on Saturday afternoon.
