The Colts are starting to make a habit out of signing Northeast Indiana football products. Just over a week after he was cut by the Pittsburgh Steelers, former Harding standout Trai Essex has been signed by the Colts.
Team owner Jim Irsay announced the move on Twitter on Monday.
The 29-year-old has played his entire career for the Steelers, but will join a Colts offensive line ripe with question marks. Essex was a member of three Super Bowl teams in Pittsburgh.
