HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WANE) - Chris Kramer will get a shot to impress NBA coaches and scouts very shortly as the Huntington North grad is set to play for the Pacers summer league team in Orlando.

Kramer reports to Indianapolis tomorrow for a physical. Wednesday the team will begin a handful of workouts in Indy before heading down to Florida. The Pacers first game in Orlando is scheduled for July 9.

Also joining Kramer on the Pacers roster are Warsaw native and first round draft pick Miles Plumlee, second round pick Orlando Johnson, Lance Stephenson, Jeff Pendergraph, Reggie Hamilton and Hamady Ndaiye.

A defensive specialist during his career at Purdue, Kramer has displayed his scoring ability in two years as a pro. During the 2010-11 season with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League Kramer put up 14 points a game. Last season he played in Germany and led his team in scoring and steals.

After his time with the Pacers Kramer is tentatively scheduled to play with the Atlanta Hawks in the Vegas summer pro league.
