FORT WAYNE, IN. - Longtime News-Sentinel sports writer Blake Sebring released his sixth book on Saturday - a football novel entitled Homecoming Game. On Sunday, he held a signing to help promote his latest written work.

The plot of the book centers around a pair of college football players with controversial pasts who transfer schools looking for a fresh state. The story turns when their new school suddenly schedules a game with their former team.

Sebring says that many of the names and traits of the various characters in the book are based on close friends and family from his own life.
