FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - The Mad Ants can breathe a little easier now. According to team officials, an MRI performed Wednesday afternoon on Ron Howard's knee revealed no structural damage. Howard injured the knee in a loss to Bakersfield on Friday and has missed the last two games as a result.

The veteran is averaging just over 18 points for the Ants along with nearly five assists. He has appeared in 20 of the team's 24 games.

Team officials stated Howard's knee remains swollen but he will travel with the team for the final leg of a seven-game road trip which concludes Sunday in Erie. If his knee doesn't cause any additional pain in shootarounds, Howard could play against the BayHawks.
