FORT WAYNE, IN (November 22, 2012) –The Fort Wayne Mad Ants revealed several new faces and a nice mix of the best players to ever don their uniform when the team announced their 10 man opening night roster this week. To get down to 10 players, the team waived former Indiana Tech star, Bryant Austin. The roster also features two Indiana Pacers assignments.
Boosting the Ants lineup for their opening weekend is the assignment of Miles Plumlee and Orlando Johnson from the Indiana Pacers. They will join former D-League All-Stars Ron Howard and Walker Russell, Jr., as well as the first pick in the 2012 NBA D-League Draft, JaJuan Johnson, in the team’s season opener tomorrow night at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum at 7:30 pm.
