FORT WAYNE - Summit City native and Bishop Luers graduate Anthony Spencer has parted ways with his Fort Wayne-based agent according to multiple reports out of Dallas.

Spencer has left agent Roosevelt Barnes of Maximum Sports Management, an agency based in Fort Wayne. Maximum is headed by Fort Wayne native Eugene Parker.

The Dallas Cowboys placed a franchise tag on Spencer this off-season, meaning Spencer can sign a one-year deal worth $8.8 million to stay in Dallas. However, Spencer is reportedly looking for a long-term deal and has been frustrated by the negotiations.

The linebacker out of Purdue has played all five of his NFL seasons in Dallas, racking up 21.5 sacks and 266 tackles.
