FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - Former Ohio State standout Jamar Butler has been invited to training camp by the Mad Ants and will be in attendance when camp opens. Butler's agent confirmed the news to NewsChannel 15 Sports on Friday afternoon.

A member of the 2007 Buckeyes team that was a national runner-up, Butler finished his tenure at Ohio State as the programs all-time leader in assists and games played. He went undrafted by the NBA in 2008 after being named MVP of the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, instead embarking on a pro career overseas.

The 27-year-old has played professionally in both Greece and Serbia.
