FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - If the Mad Ants are going to reach the playoffs for the first time in franchise history - they'll be doing it without one of their best players.
A team source confirmed to NewsChannel 15 Sports Saturday night that forward Luke Harangody has been placed on the injury list and is doubtful to return this season. Harangody has been hampered by a knee injury he suffered back in early February in a game against Rio Grande Valley. He returned to the court on Wednesday and played 24 minutes in a win over Canton - but did not suit in a Sunday loss to Bakersfield.
In 17 games with the Mad Ants this season the former Notre Dame star is averaging 19.9 points and 11.8 rebounds.
