Fort Wayne native and Homestead high school grad Ryan Wright has been picked as a reserve second baseman for the Eastern Division squad in this year's annual Midwest League All-Star Game later this month.
Wright is hitting .319 with one home run for the Dragons. He leads the team with 27 RBI and 14 doubles. He also is among the team leaders with 11 stolen bases.
Wright was a fifth round draft pick last summer after his junior season at Louisville.
The MWL All-Star game will be hosted by Kane County June 19.
