FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - Former Butler star Shelvin Mack has entered his name in D-League Draft. A source close to the situation confirmed the news to NewsChannel 15 Sports on Friday afternoon.
Mack was a second round pick of the Washington Wizards in 2011 after leading the Bulldogs to back-to-back national runner-up finishes in the NCAA Tournament - he was cut by the team earlier this week. In his lone season with Washington, Mack posted averages of nearly four points and two assists in just over 12 minutes per game.
The D-League Draft is scheduled for Friday night.
