Huntington native Chris Kramer will have to put his dream of playing in the NBA on hold for the time being.

After playing in four preseason games the Milwaukee Bucks waived the training camp invitee Tuesday. The Bucks needed to trim their roster to the league maximum of 15 before the regular season begins.

The former Huntington North Viking is coming off a four-year career at Purdue. As a Boilermaker Kramer made a name for himself as a defensive standout.

During his time with the Bucks, however, Kramer showed an improved offensive game. He averaged 5.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in 23 minutes.

Kramer played for the Indiana Pacers during the summer league season down in Orlando.

Kramer has expressed interest in the past of playing for the NBDL's Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
