FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - For the third straight year, Fort Wayne Sports Corporation held its Party in the Park at Parkview Field. The event, held by Fort Wayne native and Seattle Mariners Manager, Eric Wedge, is a fundraiser for FWSC and Charis House.
The informal program included a sports memorabilia auction, award presentations, and a chance to mingle with high profile sports figures from around Fort Wayne. A professional fireworks display highlighted the evening's activities.

During the evening, the FWSC honored local sports organizations and individuals who've been an important part of Fort Wayne's sports culture. The honorees included Lloy Ball, Art Gregory, Bobbi Widmann-Foust, Jason Fabini and Sycamore Hills Golf Club.
