INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) - Any input from the players will have to wait until after Sunday's big game as the final media availability took place Thursday in Indianapolis.

Still in question is the injured ankle of Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.  Still working with trainers to improve the strength in his ankle, Gronkowski wouldn't say for sure if he's going to play Sunday although he is expected to practice on a limited basis.  Gronkowski did say his ankle feels much better than it did a week ago.  He poked fun at the attention his ankle has received limping out of the media availability Thursday.

While Vegas oddsmakers have the Patriots as a field goal favorite, the Giants certainly have history on their side in this matchup.

New York has won the last two meetings against New England.  The Giants won in Super Bowl XLII and also back in week nine this season - both on fourth quarter comebacks.  Giants quarterback Eli Manning has become quite a clutch player notching 24 career game-winning drives and 20 fourth quarter comebacks.  Manning has six fourth quarter comebacks this season alone.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is more of a poised pocket passer.  If given time, Brady will pick apart a defense, but the Giants are focused on not letting Brady get that kind of time.

Be sure to tune into NewsChannel 15 Sunday night after the game as Ross Kinsey and Glenn Marini report live from Indianapolis with all of the post-game reaction.
