FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Behind 27 points from Ron Howard, the Mad Ants outlasted the Springfield Armor 119-100 in double overtime at Memorial Coliseum on Friday night. But it was Tony Mitchell that made the difference, scoring all 12 Ants points in the second overtime period, to finish with 23 and lead the Ants to a win.
The Ants shot 44 percent from the floor, but got to the line far more frequently than the Armor, connecting on 25-of-36 attempts.
Up next the Mad Ants host Idaho on Saturday night at the Coliseum.
