FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Monday afternoon at the Memorial Coliseum, the Mad Ants players and coaching staff gathered for media day. Players took pictures and were available for interviews with members of the local media.

It's cut week for the team. 12 players are battling for a spot on the 10-man roster. Head coach Joey Meyer has to finalize the roster by November 18.

Plenty of returnees with be back in a Mad Ants uniform this season including Chris Hunter, Roderick Wilmont, Walker Russell, Jr., Anthony Kent and Carlos English.

In their lone exhibition of the season, the Mad Ants lost 90-84 to Erie at the Concordia Theological Seminary.

The Mad Ants open the regular season at home Sunday night. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m.
