Mad Ants Announce 2012-13 Schedule

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants will tip-off their 6 th season in the NBA Development League on Friday, November 23 at 7:30 p.m. EST when they host the Erie BayHawks at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

The Mad Ants-BayHawks contest is the first of 50 regular season games for the Mad Ants. The schedule includes 24 homes games at the Memorial Coliseum, 16 of which are weekend games.

The NBA D-League Showcase will take place in Reno, Nevada, in mid-January. An announcement with specific details on the event will be announced at a later date. In addition to the NBA D-League Showcase, the NBA D-League All-Star Game is scheduled for February 17 in Houston.

This year, the NBA D-League will feature three divisions, East, West, and Central. The East division will consist of the Canton Charge, Erie BayHawks, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Maine Red Claws and Springfield Armor. The Central division includes the Iowa Energy, Sioux Falls Skyforce, Tulsa 66ers, Austin Toros, Texas Legends and Rio Grande Valley Vipers. The West division will be made up of the Idaho Stampede, Reno Bighorns, Bakersfield Jam, Los Angeles D-Fenders, and the Golden State Warriors’ NBA D-League team.
