OSSIAN, Ind. (WANE) - Nobody had a better view of the turnaround in Indianapolis this past NFL season than Norwell high school graduate Chandler Harnish.
Indy's third-string quarterback, Harnish was the final pick in the 2012 draft out of Northern Illinois, as he was taken by the Colts in the seventh round with the 253rd overall selection.
On Wednesday, WANE sports director Glenn Marini sat down with Harnish at Norwell high school to talk about the quarterback's rookie season. Topics include playing for coach Chuck Pagano, having Andrew Luck as a teammate, and what the future holds for Harnish.

Harnish is currently working out in the off-season while continuing to pursue his MBA from Northern Illinois.
Despite backing up fellow rookie Andrew Luck and Drew Stanton, Harnish made the Colts team out of camp. He was inactive for the first five games of the season. After clearing waivers, the Colts signed him to the practice squad where he remained for the rest of the season. When the season concluded the Colts inked Harnish to a futures contract, meaning the Colts hold his rights and will bring him back to camp this year.
