FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - After a bit of a tumultous year, Eric Wedge still returned to Fort Wayne to hold his sixth annual baseball camp at the Ash Centre.

Wedge, the 2007 American League Manager of the year, was fired by the Cleveland Indians towards the end of this past season.  Wedge said he plans on taking this year off, but he'll be back in the majors in some capacity in 2011.  Wedge would like to manage but would also be contect in the front office.

Hundreds of local players showed up for Wedge's camp on Saturday that focused on hitting instruction as well as a showcase-type environment for the older players.
