FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - Former Komet and 2009-10 IHL Playoff MVP Matt Syroczynski is returning to the franchise and will officially take the ice for the first time on Friday.
Syroczynski has been away from pro hockey for nearly three years but says the Komets contacted him Saturday afternoon about returning to the roster. He played one season with the franchise during the 2009-10 campaign.
