Komets defenseman David Starenky will wear new colors this fall. The News-Sentinel reports that the 26-year-old defenseman has signed with ECHL rival Toledo.
Starenky appeared in 49 games for the Komets during the regular season, totaling one goal, seven assists and accumulating 137 penalty minutes. His playing time was lessened during the playoffs - in six games he registered a pair of assists.
