FORT WAYNE - The Komets returned from Wichita this afternoon with two wins in their pocket as Fort Wayne has taken early control of the Presidents' Cup Championship series.

The Komets won 5-3 in the series opener on Saturday and 6-3 in game two on Sunday.

Fort Wayne will host the next three games, with game three set for Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.

While a 2-0 lead is nice, this series is far from over as the Komets well know. Fort Wayne was down 2-0 after losing the first two games of the Turner Conference Finals at home before winning four of the next five to defeat Missouri.
