FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - Kaleigh Schrock delivered a career night and the Komets emerged with a win over sixth place Greenville - barely. The Komets kept their playoff hopes alive Saturday night at the Coliseum with a 4-3 win in a shootout.

The K's jumped out to a 3-1 lead after two periods courtesy of three goals from Schrock (his 7th, 8th and 9th of the season), but the Road Warriors rallied in a big way.

Danny Hobbs and Brendan Connolly scored goals within three minutes of eachother early in the third period to force overtime. From there Komets goalie Jeff Deslauriers took over - stopping all four shots he faced. Schrock and Jamie Milam scored for the Komets with Milam providing the game winner.

The Komets return to the ice on Sunday when they host Evansville. The puck drops at 5 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum.
