FORT WAYNE, IN. (WANE) - The Komets suffered a loss to Evansville for the second straight night, and lost their fourth in a row 4-2 Saturday night at Memorial Coliseum.
Unlike their previous few games, the K's struck first thanks to a first period Eric Giosa goal. But the lead wouldn't last long, as Kevin Baker hammered home a one-timer a few minutes later to tie the game at one after the first period.
From there it was all IceMen. By the time Brandon Marino scored late in the second period it was already 3-1 Evansville. Less than three minutes after Marino had gotten the K's back within a goal, Dylan Clarke put the IceMen up for good 4-2.
Up next, the Komets head to Toledo for a Sunday night match. The puck drops at 5 p.m. ET.
