Komets Add Four More To Roster

FORT WAYNE, IN. - The Komets announced the signing of four more players to their 2012-13 preseason roster on Wednesday. Chris Auger, Brent Henley and J.M. Rizk will all be back for another year with the team, while rookie forward Matt Firman agreed to terms with the team as well.

Auger was the Komets Rookie of the Year last season after scoring 28 goals and handing out 31 assists. Henley is back for a fourth season with the franchise and 11th overall in professional hockey. The 31-year-old totaled 14 points in 60 regular season games. Rizk made his mark in the playoffs in his first season with the Komets, netting seven goals and a total of 14 points in 18 playoff games.

The 23-year-old Firman is fresh off a four-year college career at Colgate University in New York. He was named the teams most improved player as a senior after scoring seven goals and handing out eight assists.

With Henley, Auger and Rizk signed, the Komets now have a total of seven returning players from last years CHL championship team.
