FORT WAYNE (WANE) - Goalie Nick Boucher played through the pain last year for the Komets with a hip injury. Now, he's at a crossroads as he looks toward the 2012-13 season.

Boucher will need surgery at some point to correct the hip issue. However, he could try and play through the pain again this year. He could elect to have surgery this summer, which would likely put him out the first half of the season as he recovers. He could also chose to retire.

The Komets, who are building their first ECHL roster, are also trying to decide what to do in regards to Boucher and their goaltending situation.
