FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Komets gained a standout defenseman and lost a standout defenseman on Tuesday.
Daniel Maggio was returned to Fort Wayne by the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL. The Komets lone ECHL all-star this season, Maggio was called up last week.
Meanwhile, veteran defenseman Brent Henley was loaned to Lake Erie of the AHL.
The Komets also activated goalie Charlie Effinger from injury reserve.
The Komets play at Evansville tomorrow night, but return home Friday to host Toledo.
